Baked Summer Squash with Gruyere

Ingredients
  

  • 2 small zucchini sliced
  • 2 small yellow squash sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • Splash of white wine
  • ½-1 cup of gruyere up to you how cheesy you want the dish

Instructions
 

  • In a saute pan heat oil over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add sliced squash to the pan. Saute for about 5 minutes until tender.
  • Add splash of white wine and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Place squash into a baking pan.
  • Sprinkle with gruyere.
  • Place squash in a preheated 350 degree oven and bake until cheese melts.
  • Optional: broil for a few minutes to brown the cheese.
