Applesauce

- 6 sweet apples
- ¼ cup apple cider
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon nutmeg
Peel apples and cut into cubes.
Place apple cubes in a sauce pan.
Add lemon juice and stir to coat.
Add apple cider to sauce pan.
Heat over medium heat.
Cover pan and stir occasionally.
Let simmer for about 30 minutes or until apples are soft.
Remove from heat.
Add cinnamon and nutmeg, stir to mix.
Depending on desired consistency, mash either with a potato masher or place in a food processor to smooth out sauce.
